Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority Announces Leadership Transition
Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority (SVCA) today announces a change in leadership as Jennifer Stephens, General Manager/Secretary-Treasurer has elected to step down from her role to pursue other opportunities. The SVCA Board of Directors respects and supports this decision and extends its gratitude for the dedicated service and contributions during Jennifer’s tenure.
Erik Downing has assumed the position of Acting General Manager/Secretary-Treasurer. Mr. Downing brings extensive experience with SVCA and a deep commitment to environmental conservation, ensuring a seamless transition as SVCA continues its vital work.

Saugeen Conservation’s ideal candidate for this position will have experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams, along with a strong background in business management. Prospective candidates should also be skilled in navigating the complexities of environmental policy and fostering collaborative relationships with government entities, local communities, and stakeholders.
