Saugeen Conservation Agricultural Advisory Committee Seeks Member at Large

SAUGEEN WATERSHED, ONTARIO (Bruce, Grey, Huron, Dufferin and Wellington Counties) 

Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority’s (SVCA) Agricultural Advisory Committee is a dedicated platform
to represent and address the needs and concerns of the agricultural community within the SVCA
watershed. In addition to the appointed representatives from various agricultural organizations and the
SVCA Board of Directors, SVCA is extending an open invitation to the agricultural community at large to
nominate an individual to serve as a Member-at-Large on the committee.

The Member-at-Large position is an opportunity for an individual from community or local stakeholder
agricultural groups to serve as the voice of their community on the committee. The elected Member-at-
Large will work closely with other members to improve communications, identify initiatives and projects
impacting the agricultural community, and provide input and recommendations on relevant matters.

Applications will be accepted until March 6th, 2024. The Agricultural Advisory Committee will review all
applications and elect the Member-at-Large based on their experience, expertise, and commitment to
the agricultural community.
