Environmental Planning and Regulations Policies Manual
SVCA review and permitting is based on compliance with the Environmental Planning and Regulations Policies Manual (Amended October 16, 2018). The policies manual is subject for review every 5 years and is approved by SVCA’s Board of Directors.
An up-to-date policies manual is critical to SVCA staff for providing appropriate advice and informed decision making to watershed municipalities under the Planning Act, but also in fulfilling our regulatory role under the Conservation Authorities Act. This manual is also a roadmap to clients in understanding SVCA’s role, responsibilities, and policies that will apply to their proposal.
