Snow Data Dashboard
SVCA has developed an interactive viewer to visualize snow data at 14 different locations throughout the watershed, dating back to 1960.
Surveys are conducted annually from November to May and involve the measurement of snow depth and density. This information is collected twice a month and used to determine the amount of water that would runoff during a snow melt. Information on ground conditions is also collected and used to assess if water can soak into the ground.
This data will be updated twice a year.
